“Our homeland is in heaven, and from heaven comes Christ to transfigure us.”

Philippians 3:17-4:1

St Paul encourages us TODAY to “apply” and strive towards receiving our “heavenly citizenship.” A question we can all ask ourselves today is, “In my daily and practical life, what do I strive for?” The challenge for us as Christians is to keep our feet on the ground but always looking at Christ to follow his way of life. We are called to live the Paschal Mystery, holding the cross of Christ as a friend and waiting the transformation of all our body. Let’s apply today for an eternal citizenship in heaven. We need to remember we are but “passing here.”
